Independence Day

Let the parade begin! Scott and Tyler got to the parade early to scout out our "usual" place - in the sun, but at the beginning of the route and in prime candy-catching territory! And with the start of the fire truck, the parade began!

This was an awesome float - had a replica Liberty Bell that this guy in costume was ringing! Very cool! I'll try and post my short video of it later.

What is a parade without horses? These were at the end of the parade, followed by pooper scoopers!

And finally, we had a CALLIOPE! This fun car had the unique instrument in the back, and there was a guy sitting back there playing it.

All in all, it was the ultimate small-town parade! I love it! Happy fourth!
