It's a SPENDERVENTION!!!!!

Have you seen these commercials yet this year? Some gal is shopping in some department store, looking at high-end brands and her friends are all freaked out that she'd spend THAT MUCH MONEY on a shirt or something...so they plan a "spendervention". They all rush into the store and surround the unwitting gal-pal and snag for for a trip to Marshall's or TJMaxx, where she finds all her coolio brands at a fraction of the cost.

So, have you seen them? These commercials?






Because I just got to LIVE IT!!!!


A few weeks ago, I was contacted via email to participate in a "spendervention". I was sent two gift cards - one to TJ Maxx and one to Marshall's - and was invited to shop the stores and experience what so many others already know...that beyond the front doors of these stores lies a plethora of treasures, the likes of which I had no idea!

Seriously, a couple of weeks ago, the best parts of my wardrobe were hand-me-downs from my mother and my GRANDMOTHER. Scout's honor! And now? Now, I am HOOKED. I am hooked on a couple of stores that know how to appeal to someone like me...someone on a budget that still wants to look good and wants to invest in clothing, home accessories and more that will last without spending a fortune.

So, sit back and enjoy the journey with me...I got SPENDERVENTIONED and it was THE BEST!
