Holiday Craft - Yogurt Container Snowmen

I had a boy in my class last year who made these as party favors. They were so cute, I had to do the same for my boys and their classmates this year!

They are VERY easy to do. Wash a Dannon drinkable yogurt container out and let it dry completely. Decorate it as a snowman and fill with toys or candy if you wish. The only thing I bought for mine were the mini-tootsie roll pops I put inside. I used sharpie pens to make the eyes, mouth and buttons, and I used orange paint for the carrot nose (applied with a toothpick). The red felt was part of an old tree skirt I had cut up for some other project last year, and the black felt was left over from making Travis' Harry Potter hat one Halloween. You can use pretty much any supplies you want. I tied the felt on the tops for the hats, but you could use small rubber bands (I just thought Travis' teacher would appreciate me not giving 20 3rd graders rubber bands, hahaha). You can fill with whatever you can get inside the container. In Texas, schools have a rule about opened containers and homemade stuff - it isn't allowed. So, I had to find some individually wrapped candy that would fit in the container. The mini-pops were perfect (about the size of a Dum Dum sucker). I made 40 of these this year and spent $1.50 on the suckers!!! WAHOO!!!

I only wish my kids drank these. I'd love to make them for the grandparents for Christmas.
