Works For Me Wednesday: The Mom Calendar

Granted, it is the end of March, but hey, it is never too late to be organized!

One of my most coveted possessions is my Mom Calendar. I actually got this year's model in my Target One Spot. Yes, ONE DOLLAR. Last year, I found it at Michael's Craft store for a buck as well. You just never know!

Neither calendar was magnetic, but I just stuck a strip of magnet across the top and hung it up.

Each column is for a member of our house, and I use the fifth column for notes or "group events". This has been great, because we can easily tell at a glance where everyone is supposed to be and when (read: we can easily tell how overscheduled Travis and I are, and we can easily see how Scott NEVER WRITES HIS STUFF ON THE CALENDAR!!!!).

I didn't just stop there, though. I have also added a paperclip to each top corner for holding coupons for eating out, invitations to birthday parties, doctor reminder cards and any forms we need for upcoming events.

So, that's what works for me. Check out all sorts of handy tips at Rocks In My Dryer!
